Safety Lights operation,

number of tabs to activate the hazard patterns.

Valid from about medio 2005.

Following are for all SL and DL models (on direction indicators) the same:

1 OFF. Turn off all patterns including direction indicator (if you have RA version with automatic turn off direction indicating).

2 Accompagniment-signal. Very conspicuous, especially for traffic at the back.

3 Traffic-jam-signal. Especially for driving through traffic jams (very short glance in mirror). Very conspicuous because of changing in movement.

4 Race signal. Little energy consuming, therefore recommendable when standing still.

Other signals are dependent from model.

The RA versions (with direction automatically turn off) only have 4 patterns, so 1 more than mentioned above. For the Plus version (battery watch) this is parking lights. For the other version this is SOS.

Operating Duplo Headlights:

Valid from about medio 2005.

1 Driving (low-) beam increase.

2 Passing signal. Time adjustable.

3 Pulsing or continuous signalling, . Off with longer puls on high beam.

4 Turn on Night mode. With 4 short pulses short after another, with passing button, you turn this on. For this mode you can adjust all variables different for day time and night time. For example no flashing when braking is a factory setting.

Note. For Duplo Headlights Plus 4 taps do not work but you turn into night mode by switching on your tail light and dashboard (power on green wire).
